You Can't Outrun the Dead

Life and yolk

I wish I was thinking about something else

Water is flooding my tomb

Limestone dust and I am a snake prince

And it's all happening right damn now

Spit the poison in the basket

Do not venture off the plinth

There are scattered iages below

With many mouths moving

The queen is drinking sugared milk in corners

Where no light penetrates

Rubies are charms that the gravebirds snatch too easily

Listen with your skin

The impressions my tongue leaves there

Is a secret code for lovers

It bears the scent of a farewell

And two twin drops of blood are my signet

On the sealing wax of your lips

Red on red
